Fall 2017 Work Day

Sunny skies and temps in the teens greeted our volunteers on Veterans Day.  All the brush next to the Butternut Creek surrounding the hen yard is cleared out.  You can see the creek!  Next work day, we'll put in posts and string new fence wire.  Garden stakes are stored for next year.  Firewood (3 loads!) is stacked to dry.  The pig fence around the older greenhouse is dismantled so we can plant there again in the spring.  Lily made a warming pot of curry soup to keep us going.  Thanks to everyone for your help and for bringing snacks!
